1. Who We Are
BAZIN & HOLZ CONSULTING LTD ("BH Consulting", "we", "our", "us") is a management and technology consultancy registered in Kenya (Registration No. PVT-XYULA85Q), with its registered address at Off Parklands Road, Mayfair Business Centre, Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya.
We provide Zoho implementation, custom software development, and process optimisation services primarily to business clients in the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, and globally.
For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR (as adopted in Germany), we act as the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What Data We Collect and Why
When you submit our contact form, we collect the following personal data:

We do not collect sensitive personal data (special category data). We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Analytics and Cookies
This website does not currently use any tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools. We may in the future introduce analytics tools such as Zoho Analytics to help us understand site traffic and improve our services. If and when we do, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain enquiry data (contact form submissions) for a maximum of 24 months from the date of receipt, unless a business relationship develops, in which case we retain records for the duration of that relationship and for up to 6 years afterwards in line with standard business record-keeping requirements.
After the applicable retention period, your data is securely deleted or anonymised.
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
We may share your data with the following categories of processors, only as necessary to deliver our services:
- Email service providers — to receive and store contact form submissions (e.g. Microsoft 365)
- CRM platforms — to manage client relationships (e.g. Zoho CRM)
Any processor we use is subject to a data processing agreement and may only use your data on our instructions.
6. International Transfers
We are based in Kenya, which is not currently recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection by the UK or EU. Where we process personal data received from UK or EU/EEA residents, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses (or the UK equivalent International Data Transfer Agreement) as the appropriate safeguard for such transfers.
7. Your Rights
If you are located in the UK, EU/EEA, or California (USA), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — to request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — to ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — to ask us to delete your data
- Right to restriction of processing — to ask us to limit how we use your data
- Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object — to object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time
- California residents (CCPA) — you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information)

If you are in the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. If you are in Germany or another EU member state, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These include access controls, encrypted communications (HTTPS), and limiting access to data to personnel who need it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of our website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
